Snow Canyon, UT

February, 2020

On our way back from California we spent a couple days in St George with our great friends Rachael and Eric. For whatever reason Rosie was in a little bit of a funk for the first portion of our time, but R and E were good sports about it. We made it out to Snow Canyon, and in my opinion it’s a wildly underrated park. So beautiful and so much more accessible than Zion’s. We didn’t spend too much time here, but hung out on the petrified dunes and checked out one of the slot canyons. The cherry on top was getting to ride my electric skateboard down one of the trails all the way back to the entry gate. Rosie also took a huge dump at the top of the hike. I’d expect nothing less.

We had a bit of a perfect moment on top of the petrified dunes. The weather was perfect, the company was perfect, the baby was perfect (post huge dump) and I realized, we’re in the good old days. I’ve been having a lot of those days lately. Life feels like is so good and couldn’t possibly get much better. It’s felt like that for a long time though to be honest, but it’s subtle moments like these that I remember how good life is, and how unrealistically lucky we are to be blessed with friends, family, freedom, and enough. Thanks Universe!
