Paris, France

April, 2019

Getting to Paris was our first stop, we got there and got to do some exploring. We went to the Louve and there was a long line so we kept looking for this “secret” entrance that had a shorter line that Byron had read about online. We finally found it and it wasn’t secret at all.. haha it was the main entrance but not the famous one that you always see in the photos. It was awesome and the funny thing about seeing the Mona Lisa was that my dad had told me that when we saw it, he was shocked how small it was. So I always thought it was really small, so when I saw it I thought it was huge! Everyone else has told me that they also thought it was small but to me it was much bigger than I was expecting. I didn’t get the big deal.. but Byron took pictures of people taking  pictures of it.. it was very crowded. The only thing I ate there was crepes. That didn’t upset my stomach too much. We walked to the Eiffel Tower that night after exploring the city a bit, we kept thinking that we were almost there but we walked much further than we were expecting. It was fun to sit right there in front of it. It was pretty busy on the lawn, there were tons of beer vendors who kept coming up to us, asking if we wanted beer or wine. Which we said no to about 20 different people. We got to see the twinkle lights come on and it was really beautiful. We headed back to our hotel and got a few hours of sleep before our flight to Switzerland in the morning.
